On The Issues

  • Montanans deserve access to safe, affordable housing. This means building more homes and apartments, protecting renters from bad landlords, and cutting property taxes so that no one gets priced out of Bozeman. Incentivizing responsible development and ensuring a steady supply of affordable housing units can end the burden of soaring costs and break the influence of private equity.

  • Healthcare is a human right. No one should be denied care because of where they live or how much money they make. We should protect Medicaid Expansion and properly funding the states medical facilities. Healthcare should not be driven by profit and every Montanan has a right to high quality care.

  • A family should never have to worry about ensuring their child gets the best start possible. Investing in a universal childcare system will reduce the burden of a high cost of living. Universal childcare means that parents can spend more time with their kids and our future generations are set up for success.

  • Our tax system should work to lift hard working Montanans up. Simple changes to our tax system that make corporations pay their fair share can reshape the way we fund our public services. A small wealth tax for millionaires and increases on corporate taxes would allow the funding of hospitals, schools, and infrastructure investments.

  • Montana’s beautiful wilderness is what makes this place so special. Access to our public lands, rivers, and hiking spots are crucial to the health and vitality of the people of our state. Public lands belong in public hands and it has never been more important to protect these lands as part of our future and in the fight to stop climate change from making our mountains unrecognizable.
